The first single released by Loviatar, recorded as a trio. These songs emerged during the 2009 sessions spent writing what would become the 18-minute opus Blind Goddess of the Nine Plagues, which would not be released for another six years. Sons of War is a fast, thundering blast of metal riffs with lyrics that reference a pantheon of Greek deities; followed by the brooding, slow-burning build to crescendo of Eternal Famine.
